He grew up in Syana Khurd, a small village in Bulandshahr district, Uttar Pradesh — completing his schooling at the local inter college, three kilometres from home, on foot, every single day. After Class 12, he moved to Ghaziabad in 1983 for higher education, going on to complete his BA, MA, and B.Ed from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. A first-generation professional, building his future entirely from scratch.
